applied to Emirates today

Applied to Emirates Airlines today. Thought I would post some of the stuff here for future references and to get feedback about my "cover letter".

Applications are tough...so much administrative work.....



"It has always been my dream to be able to visit the world; it seemed to me as a life purpose. Even after receiving my Masters degree, my career dreams remain shaped around an aircraft instead of an office. While many have discouraged me to pursue a successful career so as to be able to fly, I realized while sitting on a plane to Australia on a 5 hour-long flight that I rather be the one walking around and helping others than to be stuck to a seat worrying about DVT and keeping myself occupied.

I believe my friendly nature and compassionate attitude will reach out to the international crew of Emirates Group and to passengers on board the aircraft. The Emirates Group and Qatar Airlines are both top airlines, ranked above my home country's Singapore Airlines. I believe Emirates will give me opportunities to excel exceedingly in my career. Lastly I wish to work for Emirates as I read that Emirates is under negotiations with Qantas Airlines and that it would be a better structure in the long-run as my partner is an Australian I met while studying in Australia.
