thrift shopping day

i was supposed to use the day to study but......

alan called and asked if we could go out! i got shu hui to go too heee.

first stop: ikea for meatballs on 50% off

they ordered like 40 meatballs and shared between 3 of us, it amazes me that i could eat so much when im sharing than eating 10 on my own

second stop: centro galleria

modelling hats that are selling in target stores for the melbourne cup competition

that was quite a long-stretched mall, with 2 storeys too. it's quite difficult to find multi-level shopping centres in australia. shu hui said that she missed the 8 storey one in singapore and for a moment i couldn't remember what was that place! turned out to be ion. i think i will never come to terms that there is actually a 8 storey tall shopping centre in singapore.

alan's really sweet to take me thrift shopping in perth, when he found out that i love thrift shopping. 2 days in a row! really thought that the first day would have already put him off. it's always nice to have people to accommodate my interests when they can be so weird or unlikeable.

it was shu hui's virgin experience into the thrift store.... haha!

third stop: Salvos!

bought 2 really goooood tops that i really like! shu hui got a brigette jones diary book! she's such a bookworm really!

fifth stop: op shop

bought a nice zebra print tube dress and a colourful toga top, both of which looked really new. alan got a soft toy and a metrolife church cd that i think even jonathan havent heard about.

afterwhich i arranged to cook baked rice at alan's place, which is also suds' place, but i was so angry at suds from the day before and behaved like a stuck-up girl all out to spite suds by somewhat on a minuscule scale flirting with alan and all.

argh feel so bad that i cried eating the baked rice, which didnt taste that great but the guys said it was good so it's ok (i hope). talked to suds afterwards and he later tweeted that he felt worse. tried to make it better by putting a nice status update about being content even though i was still feeling really shitty and empty.

sometimes i really just need a hug and a head nuzzle, that i could always get in singapore with chloe or lucky, like "chloe, hug!!!" and she'll come to hug me and run off.
