friday town

campaign mgmt in school was good. saw the teacher walking to the classroom at the opposite end of the corridor and i ran for it. guessing that my attitude might have better her impression of me. there was once she came up to me and told me to write "late" next to my attendance. noticed that no other student had ever had to write late next to their attendance.

anyway moving on, it was a relief that we didnt have to do much post-campaign research since the campaign will end later than our project allowance time. that was a huuuuuge relief, considering that the campaign is like a communication campaign, and we practically havent done much communicating with the target publics et cera except for with our client.

then again i might have got the idea of a PR campaign wrong.

ook that was a sidetrack to the main post of the story. had to record these thoughts before i lose them like dumbledore taking out wispy strands of glittery memories out of his ear hole with his wand and storing them into tiny vials.

went to town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

we were all very excited and eager to shop, until we got into the lift, when 5 other indonesian motherfishing rich tai-tais stepped in with really puffy hair and makeup thick with highly accented eyebrows and powdered faces....and they realised one of their tai-tai friends was outside and havent got into the lift and they went "yang! yang!" and one of the tai-tai hurriedly pressed on the "Emergency Stop" button, thinking it was the door opening button.

and so that was my first time ever trapped in a lift.

suds, the one nearest to the panel of buttons, looked as if in disbelief, and utter exasperation contained in a i-will-lol-if-this-happened-to-someone-else kinda way. then he began to break the news that we are really trapped and the lift cannot move anymore.

so the calling-emergency and the awkward silence began....i made conversations with the tai-tais and found out they're from indo. told them that suds has a indo parentage and they asked where i'm from and i said singapore. then it got stuffy and i sat down where the air is supposedly cooler. stephanie looked like she could kill someone. i was feeling damm amused by the whole situation. in the end the indian guy saved the day coz he pressed some button more than the 5 seconds instructed by the guy over the emergency line, so it was good :)

i shopped a lot at the good sammys coz they had the 50% storewide off recycled clothing. think i acquired 5 dresses that day. woots. i actually bought one dress that does not suit me coz it was very low-cleavage but i really liked it. keeping faith that one day i can wear it.

hmm the thing about op-shopping is that i can never find anyone who would be able to enjoy it as much as i do. :[ was pretty bad shopping company that day.

ate at taka's:

the boys were being very naughty in the dotti store!!! i guess the management would be unhappy if they see how their marketing efforts have been interpreted.

bought the hat on the left for $10. maybe i could wear it when there's a horse race?

YAY for practicality!
