day out with jerome

met jerome at the singapore community day! didnt talk then and received a friend request on facebook later... finally met after a long message correspondence.

it was my first time taking a bus to fremantle. enjoyable ride! stitched up my broken bag on the way there.

was a little nervous meeting someone i never ever spoke a single word to in real life! thought his voice was really deep and bored over the phone.

anyway it turned out great :)

fremantle well

saw masterchef host anna gare at the fremantle market :D she was there for like 2 hours cooking and promoting the stall-owners' wares and groceries. and we got free food. jerome and i had really good paella. my share even had some crayfish. really cool. :D

she's so pretty, kind, eloquent and can cook so well. :)

wandered around fremantle, discovered 2 op-shops, bought our zombie outfit for $2.50 each and ripped a tape that was $0.10...

perth has cool vehicles on the streets!

4 harley davidson riders VROOM VROOM down the fremantle st, to drop off at hungry jacks to get a bite. hilarious.

then we decided to go along the fremantle line and drop off at Claremont to explore and find this halloween party shop that i read about somewhere in the papers.

we played so much at party town that we forgot the time. had to rush to city to rip the clothes, do makeup and try to learn the dance...

rehearsals! warmup with zumba was reaally fun. danced to the tune of "i got a feeling" and everyone was getting high. :)

i love his costume!! the wife was commented when one of the knifes fell off his back, "you wanna stab him in his back?" the little girls of his were wearing the "thrill the world 2010" shirts. hmm i kinda regret not getting one of the shirts as a memorabilia.

felt really good dancing with the record tape ribbons flaying around in the air, adding much distraction to a dance that is unpracticed and awkward. jerome didnt catch some steps and it was hilarious when everyone had crouched down leaving him to do that star pose standing up.

got to northbridge, had subway, he sent me back to my house and waited for his friend to pick him up, it was a really beautiful and enjoyable day :)
