monday nights are the free upsize of the bubble tea nights. boy was i really grateful to carlos for offering to take me out to drink bubble tea. not having a car makes me feel inferior to those who have car coz car=transport=can ferry friends=more popular!
those friends of mine who drive will probably have more friends than me and i feel left out sometimes coz a car can only take 4 other people. and if a guy drives me it will seem that he is interested in me, while a girl may not be interested in driving me unless she is really interested in being my friend when i dont really have much of benefits at all.
yay to carlos!
the whole of us were giggling at the other 2 house mates who didnt go. it so happened that the 2 housemates are older than us, being 25 and 28, while we are between 21 and 22, so we saying that the lao ren is missing out on the fun.
bawwwwh anyway i struggled with cantonese. sigh.
arno's birthday is on 9 september so we wanted to buy hats to celebrate his birthday in a "costume party" kinda theme but i think we will forgo it already. got to shopping at innaloo (sounds like in the loo -_-)'s ikea, toy'r'us and spotlight...
pretty much self-explanatory:
at toys'r'us
having a nice picnic!
of all the guys in my house i really cant click with him! and he's the only other murdoch student in the house.
toy'r'us has nice toys! i like this ice-kachang making one:
and i adore barbie dolls and forever and ever!
particularly this statue of liberty one:

at spotlight
i love the wedding cake decor! the vertical columns, the chapel window... and they have nice funky sunglasses too! saw this bride-to-be novelty shades that i was so tempted to get but they cost $7. :[
also wanted to get acrylic paint to paint the scenery in the garden but le sigh. budget constraints!
at ikea
viking hat for boys with arthur disturbing with his bat puppet:

when we were preparing to leave arthur's car cannot start coz he left his headlights on and there were no more power! we're like AHHHHHH! and lucky i asked a tough-looking angmoh to help us. it was my first time pushing a car and it's quite fun!
when we got home i cooked and koped a little of carlos's spaghetti. turns out that the only one dish i keep seeing him cook tastes really good, like restaurant standard bolognese pasta. carlos being the most manly/ goodlooking guy in the house was teased by gigi. gigi really likes him too i could tell. and i koped arthur's quiche which tasted only alright. arthur's quite the food critic sometimes, often telling me that i cannot be married off coz i dont know how to cook well yet.
so 4 of us were sitting around the table then they started to speak in cantonese about AV, which is adult video. ZZZ.
anyway it's quite idle convo... so here's the ice-cream cake that arthur painstakingly made:
thats my milo powder thats on the cake face! cant wait to celebrate tomorrow! :)
