topsy turvy

thank God for jonathan lexing!

thank you for listening me out on the affairs of the heart, for empathizing and giving the right comments to make me feel a whole lot better. in the whole of australia, you would be the only listening ear- the only extension from the family i left in singapore. im grateful for the treat that day! i will surely treat u back. and thank you for bringing in God into the whole picture and strengthening those roots, otherwise i might have just been swept away into the whole ungrateful lifestyle.

and yay to a nice cosy indie cafe in the middle of nowhere, with a nice ambience!

my banana cake and his fruit salad!

there were many artsy-fartsy publications around for viewing pleasure and i flipped one about interior designing. i came across this picture of a google office in sydney, australia:

it is most incredulously out-of-the-world and so surrealism. imagine coming out of a meeting in another room all dazed and thinking that you're walking on the ceiling here!

and so i exclaimed to my aunt when i met her later that i want my house to have a room where the furniture are all nailed unto the ceiling and looked upside down, when later we went to watch inception.....

it was almost like a realisation of sorts, like wow! you know the feeling when you think about something and later something comes about to confirm it, and gives you the feeling that it is a sign from God??

here is the room upside-down:
notice the corridor door lamps are now upside-down and the ceiling lights are on the other end!

and i was so infuriated at the first 15mins of the movie omgggg. whoever says inception is good must have been those smarmy-pants kind who says it's good because they want to act like they understand the whole movie. seriously, one is better off not understanding the movie and just sitting back to enjoy the theatrics and cool animated motions.

i should take a picture of the cinema i went to one day. it's very old-school aha.

i went home afters and went to google images that show upside down rooms as an inspiration for my future house:

this is the result of some college students who pulled a prank of one of their buddies going back for a month, and they pinned the guy's furniture on the ceiling so that the guy would come home in a shock. amazing things people do in boredoom huh.

in germany (i think) a designer made this house!!!!!!

it is absolutely what the heaveeeeennnn!! haha.
