fairytale wedding

FINALLY I DECIDED NOT TO go overly with the fairytale theme and try to look like a fairy instead. i failed on the day when debbie pointed out to me that my wings are that of the angel and not of a fairy.

i was like, whaaaatttttt no wayyyyyyy, then i realised oh yeah the fairies' wings are usually like translucent petals and not bird feathers!!

anyway here are the lovely pictures taken that night!

i love anxian's candid shot of me :D

all of us with sister angela.

one thing about my cell, as i come to realise, we all love taking photos! so whenever one of us are cam-whoring, the subsequent shots you will see more and more people jumping into the picture, making it like a HUGE cell group picture in the end.

i approached Jacelyn Tay and jamie says i am so brave.... (more like thick-skinned hee)
felt a little indignant that everyone started to ask jacelyn for pictures after my initiation coz i was to blame for interrupting her from enjoying her mango sago and i didnt like to share that privilege of being photographed with her. rawr.

Brides' bouquet throwing!!!! one of the more exciting wedding component for me!

Pastor Darren made the boys catch the bouquet as well LOL. how creative are we. here is Justin running forward to catch the bouquet.

the boys whooping! haha!

okay other not so important pictures of thousand words but pretty ones since it's MY blog...

that day, i learnt the valuable lesson of preparing to magnify/maximise on the cleavage bit when wearing tube dresses in a function where there are many tube dress-wearers. it is rather important as when side by side, people tend to compare and contrast hence the need to at least prove some worthy competition.

seraphine the baby is looking really angelic!

went home that day feeling all positive and in happy-bubbles about marriages and weddings with pastor darren sharing that: "men, treat your wives like queens and they will treat you like kings. women, treat your husbands like kings and they will treat you back like queens."

THEN MY MOTHER had to prick my bubbles: "more like: treat your husbands like kings and they will treat you like maids."

rather wise, caustic and interesting words indeed. what do you think!??!
