three is better than one

just realised i have been hanging out in groups of 3 lately!

27th after work on that tuesday when shanrong don't have classes- tried organizing a 8 people game of Left4Dead2 but it bombed! ARGH.

so finally shanrong, marianne and i went, and i towed remy along...who wasn't such a great sport in the game.

sidetrack: so anxian shared with me the link about the most annoying multiplayer gaming personalities and some really matched the profile. now i won't get into details but these are some complaints listed in the forum that resonated deeply with me:
"People who don't follow orders, even if the team is already asking him."
"The dumbshits who leave you behind or ignore you in L4D2 when a special infected has you."
"The guy who makes his attitude & self-importance known to all as soons as he can."
it was almost the worst game i ever played and felt so horrible at. i cannot believe the whole i-got-the-highest-score-in-killing-zombies-and-you-dont thing happened and the "you all take the cola and i will shoot because i am the best at shooting" so he stood at the entrance to get his life depleted and finally die because he just wants to act hero.
maybe i will take into account that it was his first game ever and not feel so murderous.

i was pretty mean (sorry) and asked to return home alone. shanrong walked with me to the train station when marianne called to want to come back and have a drink together! we had cheap sashimi at closing hour and a bottle of apple juice for a kewl supper.

kinda atas- expensive food but in a cheap package. paper cups courtesy of the water dispensing machine at carrefore.

i look ghastly here! i tend to, after shouting at people.

then on thursday-no work day! i got to meet runqian and hongbei for a nice lunch at cathay's ashton's! the food was quite good! yummy. i do however think that chargrill at the neighbourhood coffee shops are equally just as good, albeit with no aircon-albeit NO queues!

runqian drove us to Once Upon A Milkshake at tanjong pagar, just next to the red dot traffic building to try out her latest craving:

their mini cup is really a shrunken version of the normal latte cups and it is adorable.

O-K! this is advertising almost!

NOT TO FORGET sunday, the night of the star awards part II, where 3 of us ladies trooped off to kenneth's house early in the morning for a photoshoot.

BLEAH!
