the other day was yuling aka money's birthday. she got a watermelon for her birthday but this cunning fox went to get the poor old pantry auntie to CARRY the watermelon for her and cut it!!! grr. and she served it to ah kong (a colleague whom i really dislike) coz there was too much watermelon.

surprised that the watermelon is yellow?! so was i!! yiwei didnt even eat it coz she never seen a yellow watermelon in her entire life. but really the watermelon was the sweetest watermelon i ever tasted, and damm expensive too at $5+.

my office has some funny characters:

this guy went around the office on this funky mohawk wig he got at bangkok! and he danced like some getai-ish sexy jiggle in front of us all girl colleagues. damm funny.

we ate at the gourmet street restaurant thing for lunch as huilian's farewell:

bahhh my nokia phone is getting worse..

work really makes one spend alot during lunch time with all that farewell lunches and when hanging out with perm staff etc. 2 hours of work pay can just bid farewell in a luncheon like that.

blouse details!

i felt rather fortunate that my liking for the outfit grew over the day... i thought that the top i bought from bysi during a sale would look gaudy with its bright old-ish colour and the frills and i disliked my beige skirt for the overly-steep slope of the front hem opening. im felt very thankful that i managed to find a vintage belt to cinch up the waist and that the length of the blouse cover the skirt just right and the attention-seeking details all complemented each other. i always match an attention-seeking piece with a safe black piece...today taught me to take more time to experiment.
