we had to wear blue coz we're sitting in the blue sector. chloe didnt obey rules. she picked out a pink frock to wear instead.
i liked my blue outfit! just a pity i didnt manage to get a full body shot!the parade was beautiful! it made me missed the days of helping out at chingay when i was in jc- doing all the cheers i found lame and exhausting. the introduction was so catchy, i was dancing and thinking of church service! i think my mum was a little embarrassed by me-like how when you go clubbing with someone and your company dances so much better and more than you that kind of puts-you-out-of-the-mood-weird i guess.
some floats i found interesting!
float that promotes the singapore flyer. quite obvious isnt it. and the capsule contained a couple drinking on high stools...quite hilarious.
float for the universal studios!! pretty exciting to see the roller coaster rides and theme park features on the float. i wonder how they dispose the stuff on the floats...i really dont mind that roller coaster bits in room to show how life is full of ups and downs. maybe i will customise these fixtures when i get my own house. plus the loops allow me to hang my clothes-hangers on them.
shrek and fiona looking pretty. also there was madgascar just right behind- and they played the "i want to move it move it" song- popular favourite song in the heartlands as the whole sblue section of hongkah grc people start dancing and shaking. funny sight to behold.
i was like, this one also can ah! when the storm troopers of star wars came out. also there was cosplay people walking along some float, almost all of them wearing wigs. quite funny.
