xmas 09!

hope your xmas was great! i know mine was! in 2008, it wouldn't have been, coz i never treasured friendships, and thought church events were chores instead of blessings...however this year seems way different, and i enjoyed my Christmas.

after coming back from europe trip (post coming up after my sister gives me pictures!)...i felt a little out-of-touch but i went to "extra" a little and joined the carolers on their home visitation to warm myself to the festive season.

thank God for pei en for inviting me!! :) she knew i was feeling a little outcast ed and bored at home and she invited me. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEIEN!)

vann, me, elicia! :)

met them at pei en's then we got to joseph's place. lastly to sis angela's friend's place!!! the food is AWESOME!!!

i spoilt a lot of the xmas card potential pictures with me standing rather center. boo!

me making eyes at tom yam beehoon

followed by a very impromptu supper with victor!

missing out jon ong if not it'll be full-fledged connect group outing!

the next day...i was awakened at 4pm by my mum asking me to go to church (!!)

i wanted to go for the elf-ish look.

green tartan top (print looks like pet society's xmas flooring) was $5! skirt was $10! and my leggings were from forever21, about $7.

what comes next is cheapppppeer!

:D
the 2 aunties get so excited when they spot handsome guys on stage, tsk tsk!!

my dress has a nice backview that i think my dad will not approve:

wished i could photoshop the background black -__-

dress was $5 at salvation army! woots!

so there was this quarrel i had with my dad recently, who hates that my shoe cupboard is sooo full. he threw away a pair of converse sneakers i liked. this will probably go into my never forgive and never forget memory folder, along with the chic techie umbrella sean chua gave me when i turned 14. ARGH.

anyway i looked through my cupboard and found my old black court shoes. this is the pair i wore for my restaurant work!

very boring and matronly huh

i matched it with my daiso $2 socks....in the hopes of making it look like ankle booties!

YAY or NAY?!??!
