so many "bad things" or signs of omen happened on the way there.
firstly my aunt spilled her cup of coffee on the carpet. so we left the house very late. carpet cleaning is such a chore!
so finally we reached woodlands custom, only to find out that in order for the maid to go through, she needs to have her work permit! it was like ultra sian to travel all the way and having to go back just coz of a stupid card. imagine going to the customs room and having to talk to the officers, and being escorted out like some criminals or offenders- a car of 5 girls: me, aunt, mum, baby, maid- the most vulnerable group people on earth.
on the way back it started to rain sooo heavily. my aunt is sooo patient!!! if i were the driver i might have made everyone go home and cancel the trip. the rain was like salt to the wound; trying to cheer everyone was accompanied by bursts of lightning and thunder added to the fact of not being able to see the road back.
so finally we got back to the customs again! and after a quick lunch, we got lost on the way to Jusco at Tebrau City. super lame wan the highway. and my aunt's GPS cannot read malay street names nicely. Jalan Pandan was like jalan pendant etc. it keeps telling us to do the U-turn, as if the U-turn is the coolest thing to do in malaysia. we didnt manage to see the U-turn and were disheartened, disobeying it. then later we got back to the main road again and travelled further down, and up this bridge thing that turns out to be THE U-turn it keeps telling us to go about. it is damm lame. the bridge suspended in the air was made especially for the U-turn! "u want a U-turn so now you have it, the biggest U-turn bridge u ever seen!"
so counting the moment we left the house at around 11am, we finally reach Jusco after our small lunch and all, only at 4pm. -___- well done.
Upon reaching Jusco Tebrau, i realised that i have been there before. this time the things are wayyyy more expensive than how i had remembered.
it's a little like vivocity there with lots of wide space and very international shops like "wh" and topshop, dorothy perkins, M.A.C and the like. they have kenny rogers!!!
anyway i bought 2 magazines and 2 bras and 2 cardigans and a set of eyeshadow. :) my bras were RM10 each, so thats like $4!
my mum acting cute!! i never asked her to pose like this!!
