woke up early in the morning to the phone call of this kindergarten-teacher colleague i used to work with! some aunties just like to talk to me. talk talk talk. i wonder if i would be like that in the future??

then it was counting down time....!!!!


damm exciting! even more so than the new year countdown.


ahahah they gave me the option of janet.yang at first but noooooo im not that ~easy~ now im actually alittle regretful and wished i chose www.facebook.com/janet/ instead of www.facebook.com/janetyang!!! the former sounds rarer and easier to remember than janetyang. plus it'll be so cool that it's original, plain janet. sigh!!!!! actually singaporeans really have the advantage since it's 1201pm and not like1201am in america!


this was what i wore today:
i got this dress for $5 at the salvation army a long time back but it was recently altered to be shorter. after taking this photo, i realised the satin shiny material isnt flattering, especially at the chest area. the elastic band around my waist was looser and does not cling to my torso as nicely as it should.

i blew my top and had a temper problem today. i think i am scary myself. lucky kelvin was there to pacify me, if not i think i would have done something even stupider, like throwing ten cents coin at people or something. how? i am becoming more temperamental, easy to get angry with people, never forgiving.

i wonder how come great leaders/ charismatic people/ influential people always seem to look nicest and have the best fun-loving people around them. if the saying "you attract your own kind" is true, do i attract certain people to me because i behave in a certain way and hence react in that certain predictable manner? then how do great leaders/ charismatic people/ influential people deal with people who annoy them?

after swimming was to tampines one where kelvin was really strongly harrassed to go to church with elicia and me! hahhaha. kelvin = massive boulder, cannot move.

i made a heart out of my glowsticks in the service!!!!!!!!!

i thoroughly enjoyed this service and thought it was great to hear testimonials of people who seemed so distant (maybe that's why they're called stars) and relate to them like normal christians, to get inspired not in that usual i-want-to-be-famous way but to lead a life that is more meaningful and one which contributes to the society.

i didnt really like danny yeo's emcee-ing that day, loved F.I.R's perfomance soooo much, thought vanness wu's testimonial "i havent had sex in one year, in fact, it's been more than a year already" a little eye-opening, like something you never thought would have been "boasted" so blantantly in a church congregation. but it was really good to know that he wanted to save himself for a wife (sho shweet!) and that celebrities in a otherwise worldly lifestyle can find that they can change, to be redeemed and to be transformed. not to be judged not to be condemmed.

okies got to sleep and prepare to meet the 2 boys later!!!!!!
