then a man from another booth asked for my contacts so that he could ask me to help out at his booth next time. yes! i think i have managed to win over some of the people there.
right now, i am quite convicted-- TAKE THE FLYERS FROM THE POOR GIRL!
yes after my experience giving out flyers, i really empathize with all flyer-distributors and can feel the humiliation and rejection one could get when giving out flyers.
i mean it's not difficult to rid the flyers, and it doesnt mean that you would save the earth just by not taking a flyer. flyers would all be distributed, if not dumped, once the event is over. and it would help the poor flyer-distributer sooo much just by taking one and pretending to read it or something.
anyway i got a paper cut and sore calves. :P
made a bodyguard friend called rizwan or something like that. very nice listening to all the stories! he said inc_mb_s (fill in the blanks with a certain vowel) had hired girls for the night when they finished their concert, at the hotel, in singapore. :@ like $600 for a night in the hotel room. JUICY right...!! and he said bodyguards have to keep a stern and dao face to preserve public image. "if not once smile, they think they can bully you already..." all along he talked to me smiling, like a friend for many years--so funny!! like i am so lucky to see a smiley smiley bodyguard.
OH!! and how could i not say this! darling sinyee accompanied me for lunch today! even though she took leave from work, she came by to her office area to eat with me, and even risk getting spotted by her bosses!
and debbie and her friends are soo sweet to troup around town with me to find makeup. got my M.A.C eyeliner! $27 freak!
i want the tattoo eyeliner that i saw in watsons lehh. anyway i really love how malays are so good at make up..! i shall never do makeovers unless theyre done by malays!
