anyway after it ended at4pm, i got nothing to do till 7pm's class bbq, sooo
i went to the mediacorp car boot sale ALL BY MYSELF!!!!!
quite unwilling to coz that day was a "i dont want to be by myself" day but i had no choice so i headed down. bought a hot pink feather boa that i think gays like "Janet" (debbie's friend Stanley) would be like "loves it!!!" for $2 and a skinny tie with skull prints at $4.90. basically, it struck again! the phenomenon whereby janet tends to spend frivolously on superfluous stuff.
so it sucks....!!!
then i met nurul who sweetly came down earlier coz i was booooooored to death being alone. :)
we head to Pasir Ris to meet the rest to go down to costa sands (our class chalet+bbq) and we were met by dozens and dozens of NS boys! whoa so freakin seeing so many of them there, looking alike with black plastic framed specs and bogged down by the black lump of a duffel bag (what's that u call??haversack?backpack??).
anyway the pasar malam there was so interesting! they have bumper cars there, and they sold this dress that struck my fancy sometime ago on online shops. i saw it online at $11 and was so tempted but they were like selling it at $10 there! and then there were shops selling toys that i wished i had a atm machine boyfriend to dispense money for me to acquire them. there was this $2 scratcher thing that has a small hand at one end of the pole and it makes funny noises like (eeeeeeey-owh! ooooooo-wey!) when u set it vertically up or down. it's those retro things that makes u bring back memories of the younger days. and there was this cute lullaby toy where u tug the string and it has this melody playing (it's meant for toddlers) but it's so cheap and cute.
i bought a bible there at $2! lol it's not the real bible la. it's just a small size one where the contents are for ants to see and chapters like exodus and leviticus are right smacked in the middle (inaccurate bible).
so anyway BBQ was fun! and farid was a joker. the semester 3 people are fun and i guess it'll be very different with them not being in the same class next time when school reopens. they're a very unique and cool bunch of people. booo.
we (semester one and two) people didnt stay overnight so we left and only remembered to take pictures when we were on the way home.
