new singer i found and fell for.
she croons so well and her voice is so sultry and attractive. she's got the old-day singer's voice, and it's a rare gem la; her voice so unique!

tuesday wednesday thursday were spent at TP sellin shoes and apparel! and apparently some foolin around.
business is no joke.
very tiring and not easy.. :( met customers i felt like takin off my shoe and whack them. actually only one. but it's alrite. (omg janet is so violent)
this is me fighting violet.
HAHA. dont know what we were doing actually. the long arm is mine wearing all the bangles that she was selling at $4 each (cheep!).
you know, it was quite scary at first coz we didnt know each other well, and she being the lady boss sets the rules, and there were some stuff i would disagree upon. at first she doesnt want me to bring in the apparel, but on second day, i was selling apparel! heh.

my respect for violet grew within these 2days. she being the lady boss (she rented the cart and sell the most stuff) is very hardworking and fluent in talking to customers.
she's like a open-mouth wonder, the customer i judged to be the walkaway-kind became buyers in her hands. and she can sell stuff that i thought wouldnt sell!
i was super impressed on wednesday when all the rest of the push carts has closed, she still wanted to carry on selling. her logic is this: when all the other carts close, all the business goes to me, instead of 'no business already, must well close'.
with conviction in her eyes, she added: 'i want to help you and elena sell some things'. and she stayed till 10plus, till all the night classes people ended and school has to close.
and she was all alone coz i had to go change a shirt in town and elena's gone home.
bravo!
and from elena, learnt something about importance of display. she took so much effort in printing stickers and labels for violet and me. :) wasting printer ink and time, but she went through all this trouble. :D hugs!
really enjoy the time complaining that's it's so boring.. no sales la... and watching students streaming past, and that joy when something's sold.
