my mum got free tickets there coz she submitted some "beautiful garden" entry for some garden club competition. she says she really felt humbled after looking at two exhibits. our garden along the corridor of our hdb house PALES in comparison to the exhibits lah. my mum ah, she takes pride of her bougainvillas. yes, the flowers of the overhead bridge.
so here we are, being brave and holding two live iguanas (!)
fake want lah! HAHA. the aunties after us took the iguanas and posed for the cams, pretending to kiss them.

i liked the flowers in the background. they looked like they were stuck in mid-air. (you probably cant see them, can you?) then my mum realised i look like jesus pinned to the cross, if i were to pose with my arms lifted perpendicular to the ground. on a side note! i loved my tulle skirt look! =D
lookie at his plant! the leaves are so strange. they're called 'crab claw'.
i liked this! really flamboyant plant/ flower. i love the shade of pink! i called this the flamingo flower. haha!
somehow i saw this and thought of sunflower boy, and asked my mum to take a pict for me. =)
my mum found another to pose in front of. haha she looks so GOLDEN. when she's angry, beware..of the curse of the golden mother...
aha! no chance to see anymore. i think it lasts till xmas day. overall, i didnt regret going like how i thought i would dread the evening there.
some sidenotes:
MY SISTER! she got me this hello kitty box that i could wind up and it plays a really sweet tune and it is sooo cute and she triedto get what i wanted and it really surprised me and i am really TOUCHED coz i didnt expect it. it was hiden not-so-obviously under my pillow. haha!
VICTOR! thanks for the My Chemical Romance CD. i reeaaallly didnt expect it and thank you so much! you must have spent a bomb yet u still look so happy. i will treat u nicer now. promise! haha!
LIUJING! thank you for the pouch. even though u wont be reading this, i am really grateful that u thought of me this xmas. i've been waiting to get one for my mp3 but was quite lazy to. and the pouch fits my mp3 perfectly! love the cherry print!
YULING! thanks thanks for jeju orange choc and tidbits and your card! u wrote 'you always remind me of the girl who can wear whatever clthes and still looks beautiful in it!'. you know what, this really cracks me up. hahaha! but it's sweet. some recognition at last!
lastly, WEISHENG! i'm sooo glad u came down even though u dont go to churches and for being such a good sport and evrything! =D =) thankyou! i hope u had fun. i sure did. =)
