what i wore today: one of my favourite raglan style shirt with burnt fabric (can see the bra if you close closely enough) and a thrifted polka-dotted skirt, with polka-dotted flip-flops but of course.....
tried on this aquamarine green chiffon dress but didnt buy it. it's got this tiny oil stain at the backside of the skirt.
arranged to meet suds after his work ended pretty early today, at kmart kardinya. AHHAHA i can't believe my fortune in purchasing these heels in my size and at $5 each pair as well. the day before i posted a youtube video of a girl shuffling in heels. guess this may be a sign for me to wear them out since they're super cheap!
got myself a nude one, a black patent and another black mock-croc textured one.
the evening we started on our gingerbread house project! been meaning to do it so as to win the nicest gingerbread house reward by ikea.
no doubt this takes quite a bit of effort to source for the materials and design.... i wanted one that echoes the vision of ikea and perth, being all summer and warm and totally un-christmasy.
initially wanted to make it all California Gurls Katy Perry-style with candy canes and candy floss. it was over my budget though so i couldn't fulfill the candy floss bit. tried to make the candy canes stand but they fell.... gotta prepare more icing tomorrow!
also wanted to do a super-ikea one so as to win the contest. had thought about using icing in blue and yellow, ikea's signature colours, but it must look like i try too hard.
o well hope the house wins!
