we stayed at jen's house at mount martha! it's a really lovely place, with great meals by his dad. i think i offended him when he asked during the first meal altogether, "how do you find the food?" and i replied ".........interesting?" because he used up all the leftovers hiding in the fridge to remix it into new dinner additions.
the following days we never really had remixed leftovers, instead there were less spicy sambal prawns and meehoon with hey-bee (fried shrimps) and fresh slurpilicious oysters served fresh to the table.
springvale! the vietnamese suburd in melbourne. going to springvale is like a transformation away from the stylish and urbanised melbourne. there's so many old school butchers and shops that you can't even find in singapore now.
we went on the great ocean road and to see the 12 apostles (now left only 8). really long drive-- suds got car-sick. HAHAHHAH. loser.

sud's friend, aaron, brought us to mount buller. crazy drive again. left the house at 5.30am, slept like a pig on the way there. as we went higher up, the terrain became whiter and it was snowing. oh yeah, patrick got a speeding fine, oh no D:

From Collageswe had a very happy hot pot as a treat to ourselves after the whole toboggon thing! aaron and patrick went snow-boarding though. suds and i, we're a little n00b.
not forgetting shopping, my favouritest pastime!
we were occupied by lots of scanning of photo albums and sorting of suds' old stuff. while we quarreled over this boring task, i was kinda consoled by the cute baby pictures of suds, and wondering how his babies would look like. heh.
we went to the city! and i got to do the real photobooth thingy! love those retro photo strips so much. it was quite expensive though; the first strip of 4 was $8 while the next strip of 3 was $4.
suds' family asked me what i felt like doing, and i said op-shopping. :P jen didn't look too chirpy after a few shops...i felt bad! didn't know what else to see or do in o'melbourne. really liked suds' dad, who's kinda corny and cheeky, and likes cooking and op-shopping too! i could get used to a family like the Hardjo guys.
lastly we had some kripsy kremes at the melbourne airport before flying back! brrrr bye melbourne, till the next trip!
