hola senorita!

it's steph tay's 21st birthday!!!

gosh i feel so old even though it's just a 2 year difference. my 21st seemed so far away!

suds was really sweet in preparing the birthday decoration and cooking the food! it's so cute to see him put up random streamers in his own artistic sense, choosing red and white and then matter-of-factly try to be romantic and telling me: "see i picked singapore colours..." as if i would be touched by the gesture. zzz.

and he was all alone grilling the peri peri sauce-marinated chicken fillets. :) i wouldn't have been too pleased to do chores alone...

me with simon gor! he's from hongkong and he's younger than me. if only you could hear how he talks!! it makes u think that he's 60 years old. funny how he chose the moustach that is so HIM!

and with steph! :D we were bored and waiting for the birthday girl to walk through the door...

the only way to fit us all into the camera was the self-timer function... LOL hilarious foreground of the food we had heyyyy.

asking the birthday girl to pose with the pinata and she picked a cactus. it was hilarious to see her whacking the poor unicorn pinata...reminds me how benedict (her bf) must have felt if he was a pinata.

all in all, i felt touched at how benedict has done so much for her birthday, planning it to the small details and sparing no expenses in the decoration and birthday cards thingy etc. i am pretty pleased to suggest to him the mexican theme! he took on the suggestion and did the moustache thing, which was something steph really liked and it was pretty cool coz everyone could get into the theme. i thought we all look super funny like baboons placed in front of the mirror, amazed at our transformation.

initially i bought face paint but i guess i have to find some other ways to use up the $6.50 bottle of paint!

also played the game Grass for the first time and won, rather randomly due to both times having the Banker card. was weirded at the party coz steph's best girl friend, who is suds' ex, made the birthday cake and i felt a little awkward around the church people following the mini-janet's-graduation-saga. OH WELL.
