hooo it's international women's day. got up to nothing much!
had Digital Media class today. i think that's the best unit in this semester, not having to write or do difficult exams, probably just memorize a few technical terms and watch videos.
the lecturer called me Qianru today and i corrected her "you can call me janet" and there was this irksome pause matched with a few laughs from the class, as if i wanted my fake angmoh name.
oh puh lease! it makes her life easier by calling me Janet, which has been my name since i was born, rather than her trying to pronounce some chinese characters and going "cheng wu".
got grouped with a pretty ditzy looking girl from croatia, hope she will make a good group mate!
went home, cooked meself a boring-tasting lunch and slept a long nap, and forgot to call poor suds to let him know when he could come for dinner! so bad of me!
we decided to finish my already-expired fortune cookies...

"No one ever injured his eyesight by looking on the bright side of things"
both fortunes were quite good advice to me, since i always get affected by things of the past and im quite pessimistic too.
suds can't take good pictures! rrr!
had a rather emo talk with suds over emo-ness. sounds silly right. hahahhaa. what would i do without him...
other than that, THREE DAYS TO MY MUM AND BABY COMING TO PERTH!
