great bday

didnt know that my friends would celebrate my birthday today!

i guessed i haven't got around to the idea that i am turning freaking twenty three soon/

never expected to have a nice celebration coz of cny and how i won't be around to celebrate my friends' anyway/

it was jon lexing's real birthday day!

this is probably the first time ever in my life that i was properly surprised.

the cell group made believe that we were all celebrating jonathan lexing's 20th birthday, saying that 2 cakes were for jon for reaching the big 2-0! cant believe i fell for that!

made jon moved aside coz i realised they were celebrating mine too so i might as well get to sit on the main happy birthday to me seat! hehe. i like to bully jon like that.

and then they presented me my birthday present....and i was NEVER expecting this present.

i knew what it was when i took the wrapped trapezium-shaped thing out...

ohmy i CANNOT BELIEVE JAMIE TOLD THE BOYS THAT I WANTED A BIKINI TRIMMER! i thought she was going to get the pretty girl club to share in this gift. not the cell group boys! now everybody knows i want to trim the forest down under.

JAMIE YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOO done for seriously. and jon ong was so gleeful omgosh! "open the present!!! open the present now!!!" and jon ong's mum upon seeing him wrap the present so nicely at home- why so bad make fun of that girl like that buy her bikini trimmer, what would she think...

guess she thinks jon ong has one hairy friend.

and i was stunned for the moment then when anxian handed me this first aid kit thing. for one thing, i am so not the girl guide or first aider girl who knows anything about first aid. and then someone prompted me...

HEEHEE it was the life-pack from L4D2, one of my game obsessions, made known to the boys from my cell group. anxian is too sweet to remember all the little things that i adore! and he is so dedicated to constructing the life pack, right down to the zippers and black handles. admirable effort...i think anyone is really blessed to be made birthday cards by anxian! the card is so personalised and well-executed :)))

the card came with bandage cloth that the L4D2 characters used to bandage their arms.

someone said i could probably use it as a scarf...and so i tried it out. LOL. the cloth later became the canvas which was used to scribble birthday messages.

L4D2 was like old times, albeit with initial caution from not meeting up for so long. benny has improved so much in the game- i could never remember that he was this zai before. anxian was so nice to cover me all the time, with kc instructing him to, making me feel like a sister protected by a brother i never had.

epic moments were killing computer character coach just 2% into the game coz jon ong commanded that the team abandon him and spitting with high damage.

then we were due for some snacking later on.

OH and anxian remembered that i liked those x-men shades and put them into the first aid kit card :)

love it whenever jon ong brings around his camera....he brings out very nice pictures, candid and really natural ones unlike other photographers' heavily-touched up or posed pictures.

earlier on in the day i met my NEC ex-colleagues for lunch. i was quite upset when i went up to the office and was snubbed by hansheng, whom i used to sneak out with for breakfast. he completely ignored me and walked past; it was really heartbreaking.

but on the way back shanrong presented me my birthday present, which really cheered me up! she was only reminded of my birthday like just 2 days ago, and was hard-pressed to make me a present...

such a nice collage card! :D "you are genuine and funny" haha! oh i received a branded lip balm and mascara too. :)

looking at the colours cheer me up so much.

also i had a great time shopping with terri in bugis street. bought like 3 bottoms whooooa. enough for cycling during summer now :D

felt bad that my phone died on me while on the way to lunch. didn't get to skype with suds on anniversary day.

he made me a youtube video :)

most of all he trusted me enough to know his past, and open to me to see how he was like. that meant a lot to me. thank u.

i really like the chinese new year stuff launched on pet society!

got socialite the double bun plait wig...which reminded me of chun li. so chun li she is! different from other pets' typical cny costume! :P
