woke up really hot and sweaty this morning. perth's getting very humid.
arthur drove me to suds' place. suds made shepherds pie. my aunt will love him for his pies that's for sure. he got L4D2 and microsoft powerpoint into my laptop.
went to service and learnt about Trusting God, and the message revolves around money- how we can't serve both God and mammon etc. the key lessons i take were "if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? (Luke 16:11)" and "use world wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings (Luke 16:9)"
the former made me think about the definitions of true riches and how applicable it is to the natural worldly setting. the latter taught me to be generous, but also to feel like evangelism can be such a commission-based activity- more souls, more payouts.
anyway after service i got home and was distracted, locked myself out of the room. had to beg the housemates to help me call the landlord to unlock the room while i rush off to dance class.
was the most exhausted dancer i ever was at dance. too worried about not having any place to rest my head for the night.
got home to find that edward the landlord had unlocked the room, called suds and he brought over my laptop. efficient people like them made my day.
also then i heard carlos and gigi's voices in the corridor and my heart leaped with joy. i am so glad to have both of them back home. they make my life very interesting.
it's 3.18am and im not turning in! catamaran tomorrow yikes!
