he cajoled her and offered to take her out for bubble tea, for it was free upsize day every monday.
armed with her jasmine milk tea and feeling like she was holding a blissful cup of long-waited joy in her hands, she asked him, "where to next? shall we sit in the shop to drink or what?"
"hmm i'll take you to wireless hill and we'll drink our bubble teas there alright? you've never been there before" he answered nonchantly.
"oh ok," she thought. it'll be quite a good place to look at stars and talk too.
the entrance to the place was really dark, with only few direction signs that illuminate and gives drivers a sense of where they're going. she felt a sense of trepidation. places with hills....couples...seem like places where people get it on......urmm....gosh...what will i...
before she could finish her thoughts, they reached the spot where he parked. a huge tower, very much like those where olympic divers jump off from, greeted them. the night was serene and especially cooling, and thoughts of scenario-painting gave way to regrets and the worries of not bringing her cardigan.
he came round the car and put his hands around her side, and they both looked up the tower and spotted occupants. so he led her instead to a pathway by the car, where there was a trail through a bushy park.
"where are you taking me?? have you been down this path before??" she asked curiously.
"erm not really......." he said honestly.
"and that's why i want to explore it!" he continued rather smoothly, sensing that her voice was quite shrill and he had to appear like he knows what he's doing.
to be continued...
