got up to reach school at 830am for free breakfast. only for cyclists. i looked really silly next to people who were in their tight spandex cyclist outfits and $1000 bike gear. sigh.

even little kids join in the fun!
the little boy was too adorable. his parents are really gorgeous and sweet people too. he dropped a small bit of watermelon and bend down to pick it up so as not to litter. awww!
writing the article was crazy! the previous week was another substitute teacher so it wasnt bad. this time mr a m a l f i (i have fears of being called out for what i write so i hope they wont hear about this blog) was around to assess our news story.
i wrote about the "i like it on..." breast cancer awareness campaign. mr a m a l f i was a tad too excited over the article story line. i didnt really understand why coz it's not that much of an original idea and it's been sorta covered already. he kept talking about sexual references and the ridiculousness of the campaign idea, how talking about places to keep purses had no link to breast cancer whatever. anyway it was really cringe-y throughout to hear him talking really quite loudly and challenging the campaign, and i felt so obliged to explain why even though i dont have to, if you know what i mean.
just didnt feel like diverging so much into the issue when i only desire to just report the story. and then it got worse! i couldn't find a right non copyright image to accompany the story, and he suggested to have a picture of a bare-chested girl holding a handbag close to her chest, covering of course the breasts but you could make out that it's a silhouette of the girl of course.
oh my gawd i was really dying of exasperation inside of me. i had never intended to stay in the newsroom till the deadline period and to do so much work for an article....
got home really burnt, hungry and tired. napped and later went off with suds, samuel, steph, and benedict for Carvers at Burswood!!!!!!
me signing up for Burswood membership
it's interesting coz not only was the membership free-of-charge, i got a $5 payout. and the card entitles a person to 5 free hot drinks inside the casino.
pretty interesting to see people hanging around the slot machines and poker tables-why is that they would not get sick of the game? isn't the whole gambling system rather dreadful! and those people tend to be rather old folks.
too bad i can't take pictures in the casino...
those guys are gossip girl watchers. so it's really funny. got home singing in the car again and then suddenly talking about testicles and how sensitive those human anatomy parts can be.... interesting and hilarious.
