midautumn in perth

HARRO! thish is mie at the curtin university's art museum!

finally met up with junjie from my jc class days. have a very nicely guided trip around the school campus, went up the engineering block which is around 7 storeys tall, to spot the city's skyline. awww it's amazing how the houses here in perth are all so flat and you can easily spot things 30km away at a 7 storey building.

saw the midwifery building and went to his dormitory room, which is full of simpsons stuff. he plucked the leaves of some bush whilst walking back out to the university, and i thought it's the boys-like-to-destroy-things kinda habit that he's doing, but turns out that the huge bush was a rosemary plant!

i always thought rosemary plants are small like the oregano kinds, and almost bought one to grow in my backyard, but wow you can get free rosemary from the open like that and it smelt sooo good.

thanks to him i can have rosemary for my lamb :D

license plates here in perth are really interesting!

carlos is sooo sweet! i found out later on the way home that he didnt need to go to classes that day (he drove me to curtin and fetch me back from curtin) and he went to that lecture coz he could send me around. aww.

i love the sunset on the way back home and carlos opened the small little opening at the top of his car, i felt the strong wind resistance as we cruised along...it's a nice feeling. wonder if he thinks that way too hmm

carlos cooked the onion veggies and i heated this half chicken thing i bought from the supermarket!

michael made the steam chawanmushi egg thing, and there was soup and joyce made very nice honey roast chicken YUUUUUMM!

i spent a considerable amount of time outside at the backyard decorating the place with tea light candles and putting up the lanterns to make the place really romantic. it's such a pity that the night light cannot capture the whole atmosphere in its essence.

marit and michael did their "M"s, Joyce and i could have done "J"s but theyre not as nice, so i did a star with carlos following suit, and arthur does a "A" which he could share with Arno too. interesting eh.
