roomies!

arnold my roomie decided to organize a gathering and cooked for us that evening!

the one in grey jumper's my next-door neighbour, michael. and the girl in yellow blouse at far back is giselle, the girl beside her is marit and the guy in grey jumper at far end is carlos. the one with the white specs is arthur, who has been a great lot of help to me in settling in and the one in blue shirt is arnold! he's the very stable and suave guy in the house.

the roomies tend to speak in canto so for most of the time, im caught not understanding the situation or jokes sobs. here they are posing with "alcohols" looking cool, which i find really funny. arnold's carrying Hua Diao Jiu if you must know.

this is supposedly a hongkong delicacy:

yummilious! so is the chicken curry which i didnt manage to capture a picture of. :)
