here's a short whirlwind recap of the whirlwind trip i had around swan valley (i think heheh).
drove out with uncle peter, auntie lily, my aunt and my uncle who was here for a week.
we couldnt enter the factory. all we did was to stare through the 2.5m by 1m clear glass. anyway they made cutesy hens pecking around something in the middle and there's 2 giant bears overlooking them. nice moulds they must have huh.
i captured many photos and pieced them up together in the hopes of doing a panoramic almost-360degrees shot to show you how magnificent it looked, BUT blogger had to spoil my plans and cause my picture to be so minuscule!!!!
walked back to the carpark on the very yellow sandy flat grounds. everythings beautiful in real life and unlike picture quality. wish you were there together!
oooh i love plastic-y stuff like raincoats, gumboots/wellingtons/rain boots, and melissa shoes! this raincoat will look so nice on chloe or weiliang wongwongwong.
i wonder how i wonder why! yesterday you told me about the blue blue sky but all that i can see, was just this yellow lemon tree!

you could see little lychee-looking balls on the trees and theyre not fruits! i tried to tug at the branch to get to the ball, and it burst on me! it's got a really fragile shell. and psychologically or physically, i really did feel itchy, ugh. my aunt was annoyed with me taking risks like that.
the stone had memorials over them. this is the spot where residents like to scatter ashes. cute repeated messages "grandma, enjoy the scenery" tickled me.
next stop! something rapids! can't remember the name! it has something to do with the event AVON descent or something- where people race down in their canoe rafts.
i captured many photos and pieced them up together in the hopes of doing a panoramic almost-360degrees shot to show you how magnificent it looked, BUT blogger had to spoil my plans and cause my picture to be so minuscule!!!!next stop down the road we headed to the world of honey or something like that. a shop full of honey products!
interesting how the queen bee commands so much power from her whole army of bees.
there were pots of different kinds of honey to taste, like chili honey, banksia honey, blackbutt honey etc. many lemon trees nearby the place but they are in private property area so i couldnt pick any, but the shop offers some free plucked lemons and check out the weirdo lemon plucked:
reckon it could get into some local news on biggest lemon ever plucked!
next we head out to...... -GUESS WHERE?!-
they're grapes!!!! we went to a wine factory/ shop. the bigger adults tasted wine while little me professes to not know how to appreciate wine and gave them a miss. tried a sip later on, and it's really quite ok, much to my surprise! although QOO white grape would have been nicer any day.
zoomed in on a lemon tree flower:
next stop was to the Mondo nougat factory!
ok tourist shot... smile!
frankly, mondo always come to my mind of cheap nice shoes.
some decor~
later we head to another wine factory/ restaurant, whose wines are quite popular and well-known in western australia: Houghton!
there's this huge alfresco dining beside the winery shop, and uncle peter was telling me that this tree is called the itchy ball tree:
so that was the last stop! later auntie lily sent us back to a train station so that we could find uncle ben, who's my ku ma's university great friend.
we went to mosman park station and uncle ben picked us! got to some hill there and looked at the river/lake/ocean. i think it's the ocean. haha.
zoomed into the city
ok going to update next few entries soon. it was a pleasant day and uncle ben and auntie socks were very kind to take me back to my place at murdoch. love them muchos! and also to uncle peter and auntie lily for patiently taking us around :)
