the flight on Qantas was only so-so! dont expect good-looking people for sure. and the food is only so-so. the announcer on the plane seems happy to yabble on the intercom. i watched She's Out of My League. quite nice! the seats werent roomy and the australians messy- i was sandwiched between 2 angmoh girls and they left their pillows and rubbish around carelessly. -_-
arrived at the airport! the immigrations officer never checked our bags! whooooa could have brought durians and instant nooodles!

the first night wasnt great fun. i realised that its hard to expect everyone to be super hospitable... and it was SO DAMM COLD in the night when bathing. the water took so freaking long to heat up and i was going to freeze to death naked waiting for the water to turn warm. and when it was finally warm, the water felt boiling hot when i reach out to feel the temperature and it took ages to adjust to the right temperature. phew....
and then i missed home so much suddenly. 6 months seem like a very long time. i shall be finding means and ways to distract myself so that i wont miss home too much. i think i can just break into tears missing my bed and the hot warm weather.
the next day i got up to get dragged to the church. it was first light church located at Edith Cowan University- 2 years old and made up of entirely asians except for one tall caucasian.
really interesting. the pastor's from singapore- mr richard tan. and the lecture hall small and everyone could see who's sleeping that kinda thing. makes me miss city harvest so much!!! where one can sleep without being seen by the pastor!!!
got to town to get heaters and electric blanket. my first visit to target and i was sorely disappointed! CHEY. clothes aint cheap in aussie. makes me miss singapore a lot too.
see their streets! no crows but....... PELICANS!!!

they're all over the streets, jealous! im ugly there!
ok shall post more later when i look nicer!
