DAWNiE!!

gucci staring out of window

finally got the lifetime opportunity to visit dawnie in perth! :DD damm happy to get to see her and have her and wenhu to accompany, guide me and teach me the ropes in making meals, making the most out of perth.

LOVE!!!!

i had this sequinned scarf that keeps reflecting spots on my face that makes me look like i have the michael jackson skin disease Vitilligo!

dawn brought me to a japanese ramen place:

dawn's spicy ramen and wenhu's tsukemen ramen

one of the best couples to hang out with

we really shopped pretty much a storm at all the possible ladies' fashion shops. i blew quite a bit that day and had to ask dawn to hide my loot for me at her place. my aunt will TOTALLY kill me if she knows that i bought clothes. felt so guilty and scared when she should ask where my money go to... but i really cannot resist not buying enough clothes to last me in Australia. it's like i dont even feel like leaving the house and meeting the world when i have to wear repeated (in a row) outfits out. it's so uncomfy and uninspiring.

uninspired-- a very very horrible feeling.

dawn had bubble tea (eternal love flavour with mango pudding) from Utopia!

Utopia is the second bubble tea shop i've been to. it's more asian style and they have karaoke competitions which wenhu says all the hongkong and malaysian people join. it's quite a homely place with seats at the sides for people to sit in, unlike the EasyWayTea one.

on one of the notice boards there:

you can rent a room on woodbridge! call Virgin!

shopping and snapping pictures...

finally got to the Asian shop! cant tell you how happy i was to see it! even happier to see that theyre quite well-stocked!

my delighted self at the instant noodles section

curry spices: makes me think of Prime supermarket at Gekpoh... felt like tearing then.

and i spotted ed westwick aka CHUCK BASS:
on a poster looking so handsome!

so thanks to dawn, i got to know how to use the self-checkout counters at woolworths. and then she taught me to buy Marinara and what veggies to use. im so impressed that she bought the gula melacca thingy at the asian market to make ONDEH ONDEH. like whaaaaaaaa so powerful leh.

then wenhu drove us back on his sports car. should have insisted on snapping a picture and posting on my blog. when i got back and auntie lily (the host of the house) came to let me bring cookie (the dog) for a walk, she was kinda OH YOUR FRIEND DRIVES A MERCEDES/BMW kinda thing and it's quite hilarious to see the adults being so impressed with cars and those sort of thing.

i unknowingly sortof sent out the signal that my friends are kinda awesome in that sense. i think they must have thought that i am that kinda sua-ku next door homely girl with friends who drive secondhand vans or something!

argh i cant being to tell you how inferior i feel next to jade, auntie lily's daughter.

jade made these:

FROM SCRATCH OK...

this is jade and her dad at the kitchen!

so jade is this medicine student who's going to be a doctor and makes very nice desserts and icecream at home. im like this girl who didnt do well in pre-U and my aunt made me feel so bad the other day that i was trying to hide my tears at the bus stop when she started talking about how jade doesnt spend alot and have loans at the bank to pay for tuition fees blahblahblah.

anyway! when i got home, auntie lily loaned me Cookie to bring out for a walk with Gucci and so dawn, wenhu and i walked the dogs to the park and it was beautiful just running around, stopping gucci from trying to get on the much larger cookie. and then there was this beautiful sunset and nice cool air that makes me feel so appreciative of that day that god created. and laughing at dawn and wenhu on opposite ends of this 4way see-saw and seeing them trying to bounce each other off the see-saw-- dawn looking rather obscene and wenhu's face like some mean machine. the whole scenario was too funny.

thank god for dawn :D!
