tuesday!

lunch with dawn at ikea followed by welcome dinner in school!

tuesdays are ikea meatballs half-price day. which is a pretty good deal- 10 meatballs for $3.50 and they come with a generous portion of fries :D

theyre too sweet to accompany me to find hangers and introduce the good food to me. :) and later sending me to school! :D

got to school and met athalie my fellow singaporean friend- but had to be separated coz the reception table assigned us different tables. i got to kangaroo table and felt kinda bummed again coz there were many hostile-looking caucasians and the asians who arrived later sat far away from me.

am glad that i made friends with california's nathalie and new york city's randi though!

during quiz time!

after dinner we had games- each table had to make up something with a roll of aluminium foil something that represents australia.

we made a pretty nice koala bear and we WON! YAY!! :D

randi's in grey pullover. taught her abit chinese afterwards- real fun! guy in red jacket's a real gentleman- telling another guy that i am in the food queue when he cut before me without noticing me.

had great chinese desserts at the worship centre afters! socialising and found that the saudi arabia guy was reaaaally interested in nathalie and a wild fun games session afters! ha!

monday!

what i wore

went to the bell tower nearby to have (free) vegetarian meal at annalakshmi only to find out that the restaurant's closed on mondays. har-har.

so we had lunch at another expensive place. in a bar-restaurant by the sea.

very gey-kiang... we went alfresco dining, so there was cigarette smoke and occasional strong gusts of cold wind that makes me shiver almost uncontrollably and strong sun down the neck at some points of time.

its weird feeling cold and warm at the same time!

opposite us there is a house/restaurant by the sea. it has got an interesting garage for the boats:

taking the free CAT (Central Area Transit) buses back to the city:

extremely quaint and cute candy shop in the town area- must have been a good place for little girls like chloe! miss her dearly.
