prissy's 21st!

i was invited to one of the most ATAS birthday parties ever in my life- Pris's birthday party at Raffles Town Club.

it felt almost like a wedding dinner, seriously. wayyyyyyy extravagant and grand.

JUST LOOK AT WHAT GREETED US:

an oraganization could host an entire pageant in this place... and it's a 21st birthday party we're talking about here. there was also this write your birthday greetings with very nicely decorated cards...and a personalized ink-stamp for the occasion. small little details that really wowed me in this celebration.

i dont think i would even spend on this for my wedding.

SO GLAMOROUS. eye-popping, jaw-dropping and speechlessness- what i suffered for the first few minutes of everything.

so the party started late but it was fun. vtay was quite the good and responsible, teacher-like host of the day. i almost said host of the SHOW. anyway Pris's dad gave a speech and said a prayer of grace that started on the mad rush for the food (i was the first in line, shameful)

then after eating the games began:

seeing how phoebe won something i jumped at the chance to play the next game which is like 7-up! and i lost!! bahhh!!

the cake-cutting is really fun...everyone had those party poppers. and the 3...2...1! was really beautiful. the confetti was everywhere and filled the entire room in that second, almost like a fireworks presentation.

i loved that moment and wanted to recreate one of my own...

so i scooped up the streamers and bits and went quite mad:

tables had helium balloons and stage were full of fresh roses!

everyone was posing prettily with their balloons! i had to do something interesting! lucky this shot turned out well. and thank god that the expensive cardigan which my mum commented "you went to buy second hand again arh?!" looked good that day!!!
