this blog entry is about my boring o' week like all the rest of the freakin singaporeans...!!

ok in all seriousness...it's really about my week. at least i don't always complain about the complaintive singaporeans.

Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

service was great and pastor kong is awesome preaching although he has not slept in the last 24hrs.

in short: we got to have
1. HUMILITY: "to win God's favour is to have it ultimately for God's glory. wealthy people has less incentive to lean on God." >eg of Pst Abraham Khoo
2. COURAGE: "capacity to do what is right when it is unpopular" >eg of Pst Phil and Pst Yonggi
3. LOYALTY: "loyal is important, but 'remained' is equally important"

after service we went to Just Acia! am kinda boo-hoo about missing out on weisheng's bday coz i was so looking forward to it, so much so that i had to psycho the cell group to go down to dhoby gaut. and it turns out the perfomance/ celebration would end so early at 9pm! gah!

so sweet jamie and i went for a stroll down orchard road to see the lightings :)

i love tangs' xmas deco every year! so lavish and sparkly.

hahaha dont mind my "blue legs".... lol! the guys were seriously shocked when i told them that i have lan jiao. think the lady gaga thing makes them super suspicious. victor mentioned he's lucky not to have 700! rrrrrr

Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was really dreading cell group that day. seriously wished that there was something to come up as excuse.
we visited boonloong at the kent ridge wing! NUH is such a maze! (not a-mazing though) i felt abit bad for not praying when we there coz there was crystal (cant remember her name) around and it would feel awkward. it's only when we walked out that we found out she was from FCBC...!!! zarh!!

cell group brought an angle to the relationships with people i have known before. it's true that it's important to build a relationship with people before the disciplinary part of speaking into lives begin. time to really invest in the relationship of (some) people around me.

i was quite happy to have weini and alison joining us although it was like this very last min thing that they happen to be in the vicinity. :) can't wait for doors to open around me-- francis maybe opening slimming centre and weini could make friends in the accounting industry etc. what will the future be! makes me excited just to think about it.

can't wait for all the weddings and celebrations in the coming year!

so we got to jamie's house where this woman really gave up soooo many clothes in her wardrobe can! i got away with like $100 worth of the stuff she spent on-which includes her birthday greek goddess-damsel dress.

AMY if you're reading this! it was a very very ultra last minute thing which began with alison asking weini out coz weini was at myglamourplace's photoshoot then weini joined us at cell group coz we could hang out afterwards. then alison came by after the dinner with her mum and jia. wished you were there! hope your exams would end fast!

Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a new girl joined the office! i think she will get into a lot of trouble with my manager maybe later. i can smell it already. anyway i think the office is such that whenever a new person joins in (even if for a short period) my manager would call for a lunch whereby the meal is charged to the expenses claim as staff welfare.

so hurray!! we went to my old workplace- menya shinchan- coz i raved about it and my manager wanted to try out.

YUMMY! free ramen!! :D

the standard there has gone down however. i think it must be the china workers they hire whom inadequate training was extended to them. felt bad worrying if the manager would think that my words are not to be trusted and i wasted the taxi fare travelling there.

hmm looking at the ramen makes me hungry now.

i'm craving for wendy's cheese-baked dory fillet rice and hongxiu's cheese kimchi ramen and jonathan's bulgogi beef rice... hm hmm....
