woke up "alone" at home coz my parents and baby all went out... my mum tried to wake me up and i remember seeing her holding a new kite. ohh and i had a repeated dream! thats like the first time in my life! there was this deja vu feeling when i woke up. it's so strange!

found out my sister was at home later...she slept till 345pm! scared me when suddenly a room door opened in the house.

i was feeling not so happy until my sister gave me this box....

a huge opened box of my favourite childhood bubble gum!!!!!!

a whole box of them!! though my sis took some! still!!!! ONE BOX!!!!!!!!

THIS bubble gum is like the best ever.. its smell is soooo tantalisingly child-like sweet. its weird explaining, but no other gum have given me this nostalgic feeling before. all the commercialised gums, all the varied ones with new cool and interesting flavours, all the angmoh style ones, all the new pastille kinds, all the ones rolled up in a tape---none of them comes close to this.

i remember keeping all the wrappers coz they had those cute fake tattoos in different power rangers characters, and i wanted to collect 'em all coz they were so cool.
i remember the days of returning to my mum's hometown in malaysia and only getting my hands on them for that one week of a year. i had to scrimp like a addict on that limited pile of supplies as we were limited to only 1 box, so i parted half and placed them in the old tall fridge of my po po, to be chewed later only when i cannot take it anymore.

they are usually sold in boxes and most shops dont sell them unless they are hardcore malaysian foods shop. because it is difficult to sell the gum by its individual packing, soon it totally slipped away from my mind and i totally forgot how much i missed it.

hee :) now i know what to ask my aunt to get me everytime she goes to malaysia. :) so excited :D :D
