this post will shed a little enlightening on my love languages hopefully. dont know why i went to look at weini's old post just now and felt inspired to type this even though i have no boyfriend!
How To Love Janet
1. text me with unbearingly sweet texts that requires a lot of thought
-messaging me EVERY night "good night janet" does not cut it.
-texts that has very bad grammer and punctuation is definitely thoughtless. can you imagine being romanticised with "you are so cute lol it so interest why we is together"
-a guy who was once in NS had nothing much to offer me in terms of things he could say to interest me, so he went to this ah beng guy in camp that he really didnt like, whom he knew had dozens of those bear bear and angel messages that everyone sends to each other in secondary school but deleted them all when they grow older.
those typical kinda sms texts like this:
"In the morning I don't eat bcoz I think of U,
at noon I don't eat bcoz I think of U,
in the evening I don't eat bcoz I think of U,
at night I don't sleep bcoz I'm hungry."
so then, this guy went to ask the ah beng guy to give him some smses so that he can forward them to me. i had no idea how he managed to find all of those very vintage and cheesy smses coz theyre so lame and corny at same time and he told me he had to bribe the ah beng with a can of drink for each sms that he could send to me.
HA HA. ok i find it romantic lorh.
a guy who normally finds it awful to talk to those kinda guys who add millions of girls on friendster and had to befriend him for a favour so meaningless like that, really makes me feel special.
2. spend meaningful amounts of $$ to buy gifts
WAHAHAH. ok this is where it turns ugly.
i mean i dont expect tiffany&co necklaces, or ultra branded stuff, or fancy dinners at high-end restaurants. actually i like cheap things in large quantities.
recently i like having a bunch of handphone accessories on my phone and things that i can carry on me that i can tell people, hey my dad bought me this bag or hey, my wallet was given to me by my grandpa who loves me very much etc.
very materialistic right! thats why i try to make it easier by saying cheap things in small quantities. it's the surprise element that counts!
3. play pet society with me
i think stupid games like pet society really tests a guy's patience. i think it's incredibly sweet that this guy on facebook tries to play pet society to earn coins to buy stuff that he knows his girlfriend's pet likes. i saw it on the forums before and wished that i could buy a guy like that.
i've also heard of this guy on the forums who decorated the pet's house with a message that says "i love you" or "will you marry me", etc and then surprising the girl when the girl visits the house.
bro darren always trades on the forums to get sis angela what she likes on facebook. real sweet right? haha
4. tell me that i am pretty even though i have way prettier friends
this is like, duh. but i think most guys never get it. i know that only the great girlfriends would not be the ones who are petty and so insecure, but come on, the truth is out there but dont let it hurt right?
i like to hear false things when it comes to a woman's looks.
5. to be concerned about my eating
food is important. so is the company that comes when having meals together.
loving janet is to enjoy even the simple routine little things of life together, is to know that janet is being fed all the time, is to bring her out for meals when she is hungry.
strangely i think this must be the most difficult task of them all!
6. act like a gangster and make me feel protected
i adore macho men! really. i like those guys who really take ownership, like Gu Jun Pyo to protect his girlfriend, like those guys who do chivalrous and heroic things. i can swoon my way to my next life.
however i also admire a guy who can fight with the sword of a pen, someone who is logical and uses love instead of the fist to overcome something. someone who can make the worst situations funny and enjoyable.
LOL! getting way drama. but you know what i mean.
