cheated

oohhh no tags. :( i want to remove my tagboard already!

anyway i got cheated by this china man in raffles place shopping centre basement.

i was about to go to the bakery and buy meself a bread for lunch then this man came wearing like a formal shirt and pants with laptop bag and nice watch, saying "sorry... miss. i.. i lost my, wallet. can you lend me some money?" so i said "yeah ok but i only have a ten dollar note and i go buy my bread and give you the change afterwards?" then he said, "no no.. can i have ten dollars please?"

at that point i was thinking as if he was rushing somewhere. and remembering what i read in the morning in the forum pages of newspapers, ie "this guy helped me when i lost my wallet etc, thank you kind singaporeans!" and i was feeling happy because the security guard in my school said i was very pretty that day.

sigh.

anyway he asked for my number so that he can return my money back. haha. he still havent called. $10 gone.

if i see him i will surely kick him in the balls.

hence lessons learnt:
1) ask for his watch/ object in exchange for the money he needed. like pawn shop like that.
2) ask to take his photo on your phone so that report could be done if he's really a con-man
3) ask him to sit while you draw money from bank. meanwhile call the police for advice
4) tell him politely, "i dont believe you" and walk away
5) get his number and spam his phone the next day

am really quite offended by these people. sometimes it doesnt pay to dress up and look rich! was feeling quite victimised and stupid. hate it when people cheat me, or even other little girls, who work hard for that $10 worth of money. sigh.
