monday was spent with deb who's soooo nice to pei me sell my handphones at blistering weather and bearing with me the really bengs handphone sellers. :) damm grateful.
at first i was quite pissed with her handphone coz i was going to be super late and i couldnt reach her, which got me anxious like ants. i felt like turning back home coz i think she might confirm go home if she had waited so long. luckily when i reached toa payoh, she strutted over having just reached only. :D yay.
i sold all the 3 phones and the lousy chargers for a miserable TEN DOLLARS, after ah yang (kc's friend) hem-hum-haw through the whole process of phone checking. ARHHHGGG so paiseh. very embarrassed to wait for him to scrutinise the phone and shake his head like i very unbelievable. gah idiot. if i am rich enough i would just dump the phones into the rubbish bin. :(
ten dollars man. only ten dollars. sob! and my nokia 8250 is still working! miracle!
also, my current LG phone is now "worthless, can't sell in market". sigh so much for an expensive phone. cant trade for my sister's N95 already. ah yang says LG phones' value depreciate really fast in the market and is difficult to sell. SO DONT BUY LG PHONES if u plan on trading them later. and i was also told that sim lim square (where i bought my phone) is a place of crooks and i should not have bought my phone there. my phone is an export and not sold in singapore, hence explaining why nobody has ever seen my phone before and that it is practically worthless to be resold again.
sucks. the whole experience is unbelievably humiliating. i felt so humbled by it.. such a tough life. i wonder what my dad and aunt would say if they found out i went to sell my phones just for a $10 to add to my remoduling funds. luckily got debbie to accompany me through it. so grateful for ah yang's contact if not i will just feel like i am selling my body or something. eeww. ok i am not saying that i have a super hot body or damm pretty such that people would even want to take advantage of me, but there are some guys who just give that uneasy feeling. :(
so anyway debbie and i took the train down to jookoon to explore.
Pioneer station is amongst HDB flats really, but it's near the swimming pool/sports complex.
that swimming pool is a really nice sight to see, and the waters seems tempting! somemore the whole pool is not on ground floor, so it's quite interesting to me.

in contrast, the train down to jookoon was like, omg is this even singapore! you would think you are in the country of Factory Land. so many industrial buildings..! and rather dreary and sad.
and i captured some bangladeshis playing cricket while at the platform.
somebody told me they love playing cricket, but i never believe until i see it with my own eyes! so funny! i think it's quite cool that they engage in meaningful sports and they look like theyre having fun. hahaha i wish i had the boldness to play cricket in a field like that. such a nice life isnt it.Tuesday i went out with weiliang and kelvin to vivocity. bought a hairband from forever21! :) im damm grateful coz i so happened to enquire about a piece of hairband from the Supervisor herself and she is damm nice. coz usually forever21 salesgirls would never entertain requests and usually attitude. and she impressed me coz she smiled alot and she was like "hold on let me check" and "im sorry the stain cant be cleaned, would a 5% discount do?" and i am totally YES THAT WOULD BE GREAT. i was prepared to purchase it even without the discount but the small 5% (65cents in fact) made the deal sweeter and my experience at forever21 priceless.
:) at least i didnt like, spent so much money that day! and then i saw the high heeled crocs debbie was talking about! I LIKE IT TOO!!! LOL it's quite cute. for $80+ it's not that bad. if $200+ i would have gone for the melissa shoes.
OH i found some nice deals on ebay for melissa shoes. goshh i am so tempted! and also for the American Apparel leotards. aww man. life sucks when all one can do is window-shop. it's like holding out a plate of bloody fresh chickens in front of a tiger who has not eaten for weeks but restrained from eating you know?
back onto track, went to see the National Geographic shop and kena forced to enter the freezing room. you could actually see on the screen how fast your body temperature descends. red is hot, blue is cold.

at first i was like, not that cold what and act hero, proceeding to pose etc but when i got out, gosh!!! -__- so cold!
