then we got on the bus right... IT STALLED MIDWAY!!!! like coz there isnt any of the ignition fuel to get the petrol in it to not solidify or something.. freak la. spent some time getting honked at by some vehicles. luckily it wasnt on the expressway or something, but at the gateway of the hotel exit.
so we were brought to a pearl shop. -_-" dun like all these "hard-selling" places that the tour package brings us to. spent like 2 hours there? definitely feels longer! i even took a nap at the place waiting for the next destination.
my mum and sis later told me that one lady of the tour group got scolded "go and die" after bargaining for a long time and not willing to make a purchase. stupid pearls.
then another tour bus from another tour group saved me by ferrying us to yet another garden...
then we went to a pottery teapots house where after a demostration and appreciation course, my parents were tempted to buy a tea pot set coz the maker of it has passed away. *rise in value of art* quite worth buying actually! too bad we dont drink tea.
i loved their teapots; there's one that doesnt "salivate" meaning once you stopped pouring, there wouldnt be any tea dripping and there's one that inverts itself in the water coz the clay is made such a way that its centre of gravity is such. i also liked those that has those cool "brake" functions where like placing a thumb over the teapot lid or handle, would stop the tea from flowing magically!
was too sleepy to get pictures oops! fell asleep some parts of the demo haha.
got on a looooong bus ride back to shanghai again, to find out that it was the day of Madame Tussaurds Wax Museum visit...yikes!! i was sooo dui! i was wearing the most awful clothes that day and now we have to take so many pictures?! omggg
my camera went no battery on me in madame tussaurds... really! cursed!
brought on the Huang Pu River Romantic Night Cruise...!
see... proof of people being boliao:
the city scenery really makes me think of a church song.. it's beautiful looking at the lights and how small everything is from above...but i was quite tired to absorb it all in and there wasnt anything romantic or meaningful about it, so oh wells!
