rubrix cubes

the other day i went to my mum's elder sister's house to deliver the red eggs and stuff, i saw the rubrix cubes that my cousins were showing off that day during the reunion dinner.


my cousins got the 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5.... -__- i guess that's about the entire collection of rubrix cubes already.

anyway i like my cousins. theyre really clever and brilliant at other stuff other than school. but sometimes theyre like their father... who is a big showoff. -cant stand him- their father's a lecturer at NUS so that makes him a big deal.

now, i've been meaning to pick up the art of solving a rubrix cube but i aint got one to practice on. hoping someone can bless me with an old one or i shall go salvation army to get one (coz thats where weisheng got his)

so many people know how to play can!! the other day i saw this group of secondary school girls playing with them and i felt astonished coz during my time, playing rubrix cube and failing to succeed should deem me as a geek, antisocial or boliao, in my opinion. well, actually i do have alot of admiration for people who knows how to solve one. especially so for the ladies coz rubrix cube has always been associated as a man's toy to me. suddenly my impression of that group of secondary school girls was that theyre very sophiscated and smart.

anyway youtube's got those HOW TO SOLVE RUBRIX CUBE kinda vids so shall practice from there when i get mine! :D
