today is a stay-home wednesday! :D

totally slacked at home the whole day. and read old copies of my sister's unwanted Reader's Digest. found these jokes that're quite funny. it takes a few moments to "get it".

Like most puppies, mine is not finicky about what he puts in his mouth; he eats anything. But the day he swallowed a coin, I panicked and called the vet.
"What should I do?" I pleaded over the phone.
My extremely laid-back vet answered calmly, "Swallowing a coin is nothing to worry about. But if he does it again and a can of Pepsi shoots out of his rear, give me a call."

One day at the office, a man noticed that his very conservative co-worker was wearing an earring.
"I didn't know you were into that kind of stuff," he said to his friend.
"It's not a big deal. It's just an earring."
"How long have you been wearing it?"
"Since my wife found it in my car last week."

then anyway i came across this section and it was quite interesting.

"Why do mosquitoes bite some people more than others?
Unfair, isn't it? But if you wear light clothing, keep still and are relatively small, you are less likely to be bitten.
Mosquitoes are attraced visually by colour, shape and movement, and also by the carbon dioxide we emit. If you are in a field, for instance, moquitoes will be likely first be attracted visually. If you're deep in the forest, where their vision is limited, it's the carbon dioxide that will lure them. .................."

today i felt quite piffed about online anonymous taggers. sure i mean if they left a name, like "jason" for eg, it still doesnt lead you to any more details who the person is. or whether there is any reference about the anonymous person i could check upon. they are still, effectively, anonymous taggers. they usually like to comment or tag things that either shouldnt be said, hurtful and insulting stuff ,or most of the time, things that actually would make them feel super terrified of revealing their own identities.

take for example the infamous singapore case whereby these teenager boy left a anonymous entry online saying that a bomb is left at so-and-so location and got the whole nation into a flurry. can you imagine how thoughtless it is, interrupting the lives of many others, and wasting much precious time and energy to rebuild the damage caused, and more importantly, to find out your real identity.

more than a prank, or more than a mere insult, the person that the anonymous tagger intended to read that comment/ tag, would feel really disgusted, confused or hurt.

so, dont do this, whoever you are, the insensitive anonymous tagger.

it is not only childish but, terribly coward-like. speak your mind, but do so with properly framed words and speak with sensitivity.

do you think that if you were to win the heart of my friend, you will do so by insulting her CURRENT boyfriend's choice of dressing? do you think that by anonymously leaving audacious messages like, "you should be in my arms this christmas" and "you should be with me", the person will be moved by your so-called romantic words and be swayed? please. that is sooo k1. you should go prey on harmless animals like hamsters and dolphins. you are sexually harassing somebody and could be liable to be charged.

or how about dissing someone else on her choices of doing humanitarian work and saving mankind? while, this bitter and "mother teresa" anonymous person, lets called him/her "dash", sits comfortably behind the computer, perhaps in a luxurious setting with a maid at her beck and call within the comforts of an air-conditioned room, and complains self-righteously that he/she doesnt see the point of voluntary workers using textile cloth donated by a kind uncle to make a banner for under-privileged people to serve as a form of encouragement for them. dash has a miniscule brain, in that she has the inability to see the bigger picture and has the tendency to only poke on minor details and scoff at them.

you havent heard the worst bit. instead of replyin to my friend's explanation that the main point was to raise funds through selling shirts, he/she just shrugged it off with a simply heck-care "oh wow, whatever."

again, this person proves to have nothing else better to do, and does not care sincerly about the welfare of the underprivileged people. dash only sets out to put people down and are the true trash that they really are, undermining humanitarian efforts and feels self-righteous all the same.

what is the relevance of telling people something, and not following up with it? if you believe that you are right and justified in doing something, prove it and at least argue for your stand. just brushing it off with a "oh wow whatever" is extremely disgusting unreasonable and is a most intolerable behaviour.

for myself, i am fortunate that i havent met with these people. i believe that only if you have a good cause or if you're having a good life, these attacks will definitely come. it's like you must be real blessed in order to have the devil to set these things in your paths so take care!

the worst thing that happened was the rottenraisins and the most recent was people using my name to tag. phew but i really hope it's not going to happen again. :D

OK i know perhaps i am being nothing to do, coz i really am. to the victims of these anonymous taggers, i really feel for you!!! take care
