let me count thy ways!
...ONE
coz i got a HAMSTER today! i've beeen wanting a hamster so long and darling yinsing made my wishes come true! :D dont tell my parents though...THEY STILL DONT KNOW ABOUT IT YET!!! if they were to find out, i will have to kiss it sayonara already. :(
i still havent name it yet, but IT is a girl and she's a very tame adorable hamster. quite fat. haha and she is a light sleeper! unlike my other hamsters. i dont know if it's me, or hamsters' behaviour has changed greatly, but IT behaved like a dog scratching with its hind legs and rolling on the floor! maybe it's Habin's fault (habin=yinsing's dog). today i sprayed some perfume on her and she licked her head then suddenly she seemed sleepy and i thought she was going to die!!! seriously! i thought i would be the worst hamster owner. "Janet--hamster murderer" across my forehead ya know??? :S i guessed it was sleepy ha.
....TWO
my aunt's back in singapore safe and sound....and good tidings she bring!!! in the form of dresses from american apparel!!! YAY!! LOL God is good to me. :)
patience yes patience. i intially was going to order all those stuff i wanted online using my own money but somehow God intervened and i wasnt pleased at that time, coz i wanted it quite badly. and now my aunt bought them for me and i didnt even forked a single cent!
grinning widely now! haha but i havent received them yet. ahhh!! cant help feelin excited. :D
....THREE
i dont think anybody knew but i reeaaalllly like those polyester shorts from Cotton On but i couldnt purchase coz they were $19.95 per pair and i was so damm broke. today, i went out with my family and guess what! i am now the proud owner of TWO pairs of the shorts! whats more, they were retailing it at 2 for $20!!! so not only did i saved my own money, i also got more than what i wanted! mummy blessed me!
theyre camellia (hot pink) and lemon sherbet (pale yellow) and they look like power ranger's female rangers colour!
lesson learnt:
God is good all the time. maybe it's the building fund, maybe it's because i havent got any funds, but God made me wait. i need not rush God's plans and rely on my own strength coz God will fulfill my wishes eventually.
hence instead of spending my own money, God gave, and in Abundance too!! LOL is this seeing rewards before finishing my sowing? i dont know! actually i think the american apparel clothes itself would set me back S$200+ so this is like a huge part of my pledge returning to me, even before i have finished pledging!
it may be a small deal to most coz it's just clothes and your parents always bless you with shopping trips and all. to me, it's a big deal, coz whatever money i have, i would spent it on clothes and my family are actually quite tired of my expanding wardrobe. but lalala! im so happy for these blessings. :D
most importantly, today i realise i have always been blind to these blessings in my life. i used to think that only a selected few gets to testify of God's blessings and go on the stage and say things like 200% return fold etc etc. in fact, everone who sowed into the kingdom will reap their harvest. truly, it isnt really much coz of these clothes that i know God has blessed me in return. it is more likely, that God has been working all these while, blessing me but my hardened and cynical heart just didnt see them. He tested me, coz while i wasnt looking out for proof of His faith, He surprised me. and it indeed was sweeter than it could be calculating every single cent returned to me.
so, those tired of sowing, gambate! even the most stingy and calculative person i know can testify of God's grace. if Yang can testify, so can YOU!
LOL please remind me again of what i said when i become stingy and want to spent on clothes again OK! thanks my love!
