i just did the stupidest thing today.
i cut a huge hole in my new m)phosis top that i just bought and it's freakin expensive and new!!!!! shit! i was just cutting the price tag in a hurry, and the end of the scissors managed to snip the sleeve, which was FOLDED! so now instead of a small hole i thought it was, it's HUGE!
i can just knock my head onto the wall.
ok, i reaaally excited over many things.
firstly, church!
i love this pop culture mandate. now i finally know what defines pop culture. i always thought it's like sweet stuff girls like. for example, when i think of pop music, i think of pop princesses, like britney spears that sorta thing. come on, you never heard of pop prince right? yeah so now i know pop culture = popular culture. ahhh, did i just shed some light into your dark and murky life?
so pop culture= andy warhol (pop art), disney songs (pop music), etc. the very stuff i really do like.
anyway, i had this friend once, who told me about her church, where in this particular service, the pastor commanded them to throw away their cds, stating that most popular music are actually satanic and unholy. the artiste may also wand that music like california kitchen is devilish (many stories on that). so off goes Linkin park, etc. my friend, she said the service was great, and with great passion, dumped all those cds, and felt relieved that she disposed them all (!). so i listened in doubt coz she was totally convinced and with heartache, i thought about how much money went down the drain. now i never hear much from her, but she's a really nice friend i missed.
of course, now i understand more about my church. like why (as my non-chc friend says) my church play U2-like songs in praise and worship and why my church had got to be so different from all the other churches. it's not about wanting to be different from all the other normal churches out there and go action action, instead it's about being relevant to the society we're living in and having an open mindset to not be holier than God, or to be holy and boring. i know i know, i may sound stupid instead of smarty as i hope to be, but please forgive me. its kinda hard to put it into words everything about church and not offend anybody or God.
secondly, EMERGE is COMING!!!
quite excited coz this will be the first time im joining anything, and theyre so many cool events to try. they are..

ha. ok item 1 is a must coz b.darren says: "if janet dont join, the rest can forget about joining already". n item 2 is something i havent tried for a long time. i want to get that 'high' again. i like standing broad jumps and long jumps. item 3 would be the toughest on my list. =S
lastly, im totally into imvu!!
it's like head-over-heels. it's al the things i like rolled into one. Sims and msn and irc and friendster (kinda) jumbled together. u have to try it to know it, so let me send u an invite! let me know and i'll send it to you. i'll be very happy to show u around. =)
