in chinese lessons, i learnt that people of my generation are tagged 'strawberries'. although i love strawberries and would have happily accepted this somewhat-sweet description of us, however, after understanding the reason behind it, i felt indignant initially. we are called strawberries because like strawberries, we have very low tolerance for unfavourable conditions. we become morbid, fall into depression, slash our wrists, commit suicide, write lengthy martyred compositions just because of 'small' things, like not getting enough As, BGR problems, physical imperfections.. of course i feel indignant! it made us seem like the pettiest people on earth.

but u know what, sometimes, i feel like the biggest strawberry around.

and i get angry at myself for being angry. how stupid is that! luckily i don't have a denial problem. i'm just to proud to admit it in front of you. i choose to run away instead.
